Automation Engineer – Technical Sales

Industrial Control in Zeeland, MI is a specialty hi-tech industrial distributor of machine vision, linear actuators, sensors, code readers & writers, RFID, PLCs, HMI displays, machine safety, wireless & networking I/O and Web Tension plus mechanical index tables, part feeding, and placement conveyors.

Our purpose is to save machinery developers time and reduce their risk by helping them select and implement automation devices. Our goal is to be technically superior when compared to our competitor’s.

We need someone who loves to help others solve challenging applications.  We provide value add for the latest emerging technology and seek a trusted relationship with machine builders and manufacturing engineers. 



Job Description:
Become an entrepreneurial businessman and technical consultant by sharing your expert skills with customers that need to implement emerging machinery automation.  You must have an inner drive to continuously master the latest technology.

This job requires diligent market analysis to identify and contact companies that need our products, and the ability to establish and build trusted business relationships.

Requirements:
An Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering plus 0-5 years of related technology work experience.  You must possess a valid Michigan driver’s license and submit to a medical physical and drug test.
