The transition to partly completed machinery will not introduce any hardware or software changes to the base robots or their default configurations. However, the documentation package will be altered to accommodate the shift in focus from the end user to the integrator. This means that the new partly completed machinery base robots are shipped with a Declaration of Incorporation (DoI) and an integrator manual instead of a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and a user guide.

We are introducing MiR Charge 48V in hardware version 3.0. The main changes in the update are:

  • The charger is lower than before

  • It has four new mounting holes

  • The charging plate is now foldable

The lowered height allows space for top modules or payloads exceeding the footprint of the robot to fit above the charging station. The new mounting holes enable you to mount a second charging station or other devices on top of MiR Charge 48V. The foldable charging plate makes it easier to transport the charging station.
