Lean manufacturing principles are easily and economically facilitated by Banner EZ-LIGHT operator indicator lights and pick-to-light systems applied across a SureCross Wireless Network.

Using a wireless network eliminates the need for laying down miles of wiring. Without power and I/O wiring to anchor each sensor and Node pair to a specific location, sensors and Nodes can be easily relocated as needed. With a Gateway and up to 56 Nodes scattered in remote locations, each wireless network can accurately indicate the correct bin from which to pick parts.

In locations where power is not readily available, a DX81 Battery Module can power a FlexPower Node and up to four SureCross EZ-LIGHTs. These EZ-LIGHT models are optimized to run from a FlexPower Node and DX81 Battery Module. Where power is available, each 10–30V dc Node can be used with up to six of Banner’s EZ-LIGHTs.

These K50 EZ-LIGHT sensors are self-contained indicators lights that have been optimized for use with FlexPower. They are typically used for job notification or bin-picking operations.
