VIBRATORY FEEDER BOWLS
Vibcon Corporation offers vibratory feeder bowls from 6" to 36" basic diameter. Most bowls are constructed out of 304 grade stainless steel approximately 1/8" (11ga.) thick.
All are hand fabricated and TIG welded. If required, hardened steel is used in high wear areas.
We offer many different coatings:
Urethane - used to cut noise, increase wear life, protect the part finish
Abcite - similar to urethane except more durable and more chemical resistant
Rough Coat - impregnated silicon carbide (feels like 100 grit sandpaper) used in oily applications to improve feeding of rubber and plastic parts and with abcite will improve feeding of oily metal parts
Brushlon - used with very hard parts and in high speed applications to increase wear life and bowl feed rate.
Other coatings are available on request.
Vibratory bowls are very versatile. They can be single or multiple line, can be designed to feed a range of similar parts,
can handle a wide range of different parts, can be designed to operate in bad environments. They are the most versatile
of feeding types
CENTRIFUGAL FEEDER BOWLS
Vibcon offers 18", 24" and 36" basic diameter centrifugal feeder bowls. These bowls are for very specific applications, feeding
simple parts at high rates. Parts such as dowel pins, bottle caps, washers, nuts and other simple parts can be fed at rates up to, and in some
cases over, 1,000 pieces per minute. As these systems feed so fast, orientation and selection must be simple.
OTHER FEEDER BOWLS
Vibcon Corporation offers modifications other than above, including accumulator towers to store and feed pre-oriented parts. Bowls used as hoppers to get a finer and/or smaller quantity of material fed. Bowls used as sorters to sort one part from another such as coins or different length bolts. Very often used in the plastics industry to sort spures from parts and one part from another.
