Dane

Dane Systems Inc.

Dane Systems is committed to customer service. In the special machine business, that means tailoring our expertise to your particular needs. Although Dane has designed and built a variety of machines over the years, each one is unique to the customer and application for which it was built. The key is communication when building custom automation.

The communication starts with our sales and project managers. At Dane Systems we believe continuity helps avoid mistakes and delays. At the beginning of a new project, you will work with a project engineer to develop a process and concept that makes sense. Our detailed proposal and concept drawings will define the machine; itıs function, and the budget and timeline for the project. Upon receipt of your order, the same person who quoted the project is assigned to manage it to completion.

This concept has worked extremely well because it captures all of the benefits of the many conversations that took place during the conceptual phase of the project. The team is built from the first discussion and is kept intact through the design and build phase of the project. Our project manager becomes your champion at Dane and is responsible for pulling any resources that may become necessary.

Our engineering staff routinely handles a variety of tasks as outlined below:

  • Process Development - to optimize the machine capability while minimizing capital expenditure.
  • Fixture Design - from simple nests to quick change tooling with error proofing/poke yokes.
  • Machine Design - from stand-alone lean cells to fully automated systems.
  • Process Programming - including machine vision, robotics, laser welding, production reporting, etc.
  • Training - from start-up support and maintenance training to application programming on process equipment.
