CIMREX 67 and 69 - Two powerful touch displays
New Cimrex Touch Terminals
The Cimrex 67 and 69 combine the benefits of a full graphic display with the user friendliness of a touch screen. The terminal has a 5.7" graphic touch screen; the Cimrex 67 with a 16 gray scales STN display and the Cimrex 69 with a 256 colors STN display; both with a background light. The resolution of 320 x 240 pixels makes it possible to display pictures with great clarity. The touch screen makes it easy to develop intuitive applications, which minimizes the need for operator training. To increase the flexibility even further, the terminal can be used in either landscape or portrait position.

Beijer Electronics is releasing two new graphic operator terminals with a touch screen. Like the other operator terminals in the CIMREX series they combine user friendliness with high functionality and powerful performance.
The CIMREX operator terminals are suitable for a wide range of applications and easily withstand the toughest industrial environment. Functions like historical trends, alarm and recipe manager, network support and web functionality have made them greatly appreciated by the developer as well as the operator. A comprehensive range of drivers means they can be used with all major makes of control systems.
CIMREX 67 and CIMREX 69
The latest additions to the CIMREX series are two operator terminals with a touch screen. Both have a 5.7" LCD display with 320x240-pixel resolution. The CIMREX 67 has a monochrome display with 16 grey scales and the CIMREX 69 has a 256-color display. The terminals can be used both in horizontal and vertical mode.
Communication
The CIMREX 67 and 69 have communication ports for RS232C and RS422 and in addition to that a RS485 port which allows direct connection to control systems with RS485 interface. The RS232C and the RS422 ports are used in the same way as in the other terminals in the CIMREX series using the same standard cables.
CIMREX 67 and 69 have one slot for an expansion cards, which gives access to Ethernet- and Profibus communication. This allows the usage of the network and web functionality that is unique for the CIMREX series.
Fast project development
The new terminals are easily and efficiently programmed with the CIMREX PROG programming software. The programming takes place in blocks, where a block is equivalent to what you see on the screen. CIMREX PROG is a Windows based software with comprehensive on-line help. CIMREX PROG runs on Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 and ME, and is available in English, German and Swedish.
